Knights of Columbus Patuxent Council No. 2203 supports the Catholic Church and the Laurel, MD. community.

With charity, we save lives, and we change lives! Ask us how, today!

It has been an interesting Fraternal Year as we’ve had to navigate the unexpected storm known as CoViD-19 that has changed all that we regard as normal! Who would have ever thought that Masses would be suspended for any reason? Who would ever have thought that we would be conducting our Council meetings via an online virtual meeting platform and, by the way, that the meetings would be good and productive? Who would have thought that the SHARE warehouse would shut down completely for one month and that we would rise to the occasion and create our own “SHARE” package so we could continue to serve our clients – in fact more clients than usual – without missing a beat? Who would have thought that the City of Laurel would team with us to give our neediest SHARE clients even more food and water than we could provide? Meanwhile, we conducted most of the programs we had planned for the year, qualified for the Columbian Award (programs) & the Founders’ Award (insurance), and - more importantly - served the parish and our community with strong spirit and faithfulness.

My Brothers, you have made all of our successes this year possible through your dedication and hard work for the parish, the community, and the less fortunate. You truly have modeled to all what it means to put our faith into action … and for that I am deeply grateful. You have made my year as GK profoundly memorable – a memory I will cherish for years to come. To merely express my thanks seems inadequate, but I will say it anyway – thank you, thank you, thank you all. Hopefully, sometime in the near future, we will get the opportunity to gather for a GK Appreciation Dinner so we can do this in a more formal setting.

My prayer is that we are all staying safe from the coronavirus & COVID-19.
